The competence includes issues on provision of operation and repair of energy equipment; development, approval and realization of programs connected with technical re-equipment and reconstruction of energy objects, implementation of repair campaigns; increase of economical efficiency and stability of energy equipment operation; issues on environmental policy; labor protection, industrial safety and five prevention; organization of work in rationalization and development.
Mikhail Pavlovich Zakrevsky was born on 1 December 1953 in Mariinsk city of the Kemerovo region. After leaving school, he worked in a community club. Then, he did military service in boarder troops.
In 1979, he graduated from Heat and Energy Faculty (TEF) of Krasnoyarsk Technological University with distinction majoring in “Heat Electric Stations”.
He started to work in the speciality while being a student. First, he used to work as a machine fitter at GOSNIITI Krasnoyarsk Pilot Plant, then he used to be a shift engineer of pumping units at JSC “Krasnoyarskenergo” Heat Grid.
From 1979 to 1987, he used to work at the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 under construction. He started as engineer – walking inspector, than worked as engineer, than on the position of shift chief, senior master, Head of the Boiler and Turbine Department.
From 1987 to 1997, he worked in Yenisei (Krasnoyarsk) district of the Federal Committee for Mining and Industrial Supervision (Gosgortechnadzor) of the Russian Federation (the USSR) on the position of the Head of Krasnoyarsk Supervision for Boiler Control.
From 1997 to 1999, he worked in the Krasnoyarsk city Administration. Thereat, he headed the Department for Power Sector and Energy Saving.
From 1999 to 2008, he worked as the Head of the Yenisei District Administration of Gostechnadzor of the Russian Federation. After the reorganization, he worked at the Yenisei Interregional Administration of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision at the Head of the Administration.
From 2008 to 2009, he held the position of the Deputy Senior Engineer of JSC “Yenisei Territorial generating Company (TGC-13)” for Reliability and Accident Prevention.
Since 19 May 2009, he was appointed to the position of the Deputy General Director for Production – Technical Director.
Since 1990 to 1993, he used to be a people’s deputy on the Krasnoyarsk City Council of People’s Deputes. He headed the Commission for Energy and Heat Supply.
By the Order of the President of the Russian Federation dated 10 May 2002, M.P Zakrevsky was granted a class ranking in the line of state service: the Russian Federation State Counselor of III class.
In 2003, he maintained a thesis and was assigned to the decree of Doctor of Science.
In 2006, he was awarded the academic decree of Professor of Krasnoyarsk State Technical University (KGTU).
Mikhail Pavlovich Zakrevsky is an acting member of the Russian Academy for Safety Problems, Defense and Law Order. He has several governmental, official and public awards. He is a recipient of the Prize of the Russian Federation Government in the field of science and engineering as a result of the year 2007. He is an author of more than forty scientific works.
